At Nativity, we believe that God's Spirit is working to create love, justice and peace among all peoples. Jesus is our model for how this is accomplished and our purpose in life is to be like him: listening for God's voice, moving with God's Spirit, doing God's work. As Jesus called together a community of followers to train and organize them for ministry, so we also gather to train and organize for ministry.

We are a progressive Congregation of the United Church of Christ. Although we have a deep heritage, we are on the cutting edge of Christ's ministry.
Our mission at the Church of the Nativity UCC is to be a welcoming, nurturing, and empowering community of faith. The things most important to us are Christ's love, social justice, and peace for our community and our world. We have several small groups, including Bible studies, book groups, spirituality groups, and a women’s group, and we celebrate the seasons with events for the whole church family.
